The birthplace of Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding is now a real destination for foodies from far and wide, looking for unusual and exquisite foods of all kinds, all year round.
Our shop manager, Lynne, sources the very finest local produce -- tangy preserves, the finest cheeses, freshly baked bread, fantastic real-ales from local breweries... and of course the full range of Sticky Toffee Puddings, Sauces, and exclusive gift packs.
The shop is well worth a visit as it is now recognised as one of the best specialist fine food shops in the North. It heaves with locally sourced products as well as the best of the rest!
In fact, our shop is such a foodie's paradise that it was featured on the BBC's Great British Menu – a showcase of the best regional food that the Britain has to offer.
If you're planning to visit the shop , please note our opening hours:.

Most prepared food is a disappointment, but Cartmel Village Shop's sticky toffee pudding is an exception. In fact, it is dangerously easy to warm one in the oven and slather it with cream… you can call the firm to find out where you nearest dealer (and I use the term advisedly) is.Nigella Lawson More
